THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE IS ON THE NEWSSTANDS
September's PescaSub & Apnea is on newsstands. Let's start with the usual appointment with Puretti's corner. This month the Apulian champion talks about a decidedly "divisive" topic: deep fishing with mobile lead. Following, a piece in memory of Antioco Lostia, journalist and great fishing enthusiast who also collaborated with the magazine. He disappeared while diving in Albania on 16 July 1995.
For travel, Federico Rais accompanies us to Spain, to Estrecho, in the Strait of Gibraltar area. A particular place, rich in fish and swept by the currents.
Emanuela De Lullo's recipe is Aeolian barracuda, a dish that the strong athlete tried in Vulcano years ago, while for the catches the talented Filippo Carletti tells us about an outing with friends between Elba and Piombino. Waters that are certainly highly exploited but which offer interesting catches. Especially in terms of appearance. And to stay in the area, Stefano Govi talks about his experience in the Piombino Canal in the company of a strong athlete, Marco Muti.
Alberto Martignani, with his "hit and run" fishing, this month takes us to Lido di Savio, in Romagna, Cirò Marina, in Calabria and Capo Passero, in Sicily. But not only that. Our Alberto then tells us about Normandy and the sea bream of Cap de La Hague, at the top of the Cotentin peninsula, where you fish among the laminaria forest swept by the current.
In the section dedicated to freediving, Djmmy Carpanzano delves into an important theme such as awareness and how our mind works underwater and takes a look at what happens in the world of silence with his usual column. Pietro Sali, another new entry in the magazine, outlines an overview of an apparently banal but, instead, truly important accessory: the nose clip.
We conclude with a piece dedicated to the king of fresh water, the pike, and to the part dedicated to equipment. We present the 3 new Kits by C4 for freediving and testing the Salvimar Hero Nightmare 95.
